Avocado Hair Conditioner
Ingredients:
1/2 mashed ripe avocado1/2 teaspoon olive oil
3 drops lavender or rosemary essential oil
How to Apply:
Combine all the ingredients and apply it to hair (Mainly focusing on the ends)Leave for 10 minutes and rinse.
Oil-Hair Conditioning Treatment
Ingredients:
Small amount of jojoba or olive oil or coconut oilHerb mixture of choice (optional)
Essential oils of choice (optional)
Warm the oil by 100 to 105 degrees in a double boiler. If you are using then add herbs and essential oils.
How to Apply:
For long and thick hair, use 1-2 teaspoons of the oil mixture. For fine and short hair, use 1/4 teaspoon of the mixture. Massage the oil into the scalp and try to cover all hair completely. Cover the hair with a shower cap or a plastic bag and if possible sit in the sun light or by the woodstove. Because heat will facilitates the process. Leave the oil for one or two hours and then apply shampoo and rinse thoroughly.Vinegar Rinses
Vinegar Rinses is best for normal and oily hair. It relieves itchy scalp,dandruff, dull hair and restore the natural acid mantle.Ingredients:
Apple cider vinegarA few drops of essential oil
Distilled water
How to Apply:
- Fill the jar half way with herbs and cover with vinegar and cap tightly.
- Place the jar in a warm place for 2-3 weeks and shaking daily.
- Strain the vinegar and add essential oil and store it in a plastic bottle.
- Then dilute the rinse with distilled water. (For oily hair, dilute one part of rinse with four parts of water. For dry hair, dilute one part of rinse with six parts of water)
- After shampooing, apply vinegar rinse slowly over hair and massaging it into the scalp.
- Leave the rinse for at least five minutes and rinse with water. Once the hair is dry, Vinegar smell will disappear.
Anti Dandruff Herbal Hair Rinse
Ingredients:
1 quart waterHandful of rosemary, nettle, thyme and lavender
2 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar or lemon juice. (If your hair is dry then use vinegar otherwise use lemon juice)
How to Apply:
- Apply water to the boil and add the herb mixture.
- Steep it for 30 minutes.
- Strain and add vinegar or lemon juice.
- After shampooing and conditioning squeeze out excess water. Then pour the liquid over your hair and do not rinse it out.
